ASE CNC Water Jet Cutting Machine

Water Jet machine is used for cutting a wide variety of materials using a very high-pressure jet of water. This machine works based on a powerful water pump. High pressure water is then ejected from a narrow nozzle . In the same time, an abrasive material is mixed with water. High pressure water as a carrier of abrasive substance , eject it from nuzzle . In fact , high speed of abrasive material caused erosion on the work piece and finally cut it . CNC cutting machine works as controller of the nozzle and its fine movement made possible by the system software .
Water Jet machines are less known in Iran despite their rich features . Most of materials can be cut by them. Despite laser machines , they can cut reflective materials such as metals . Also , they can cut heat sensitive material. Water Jet machines do not change material properties and despite laser machines , they leave no heat-affected zone ( HAZ ) on the part .
ASE Model is produced in larger size and uses a gear rack mechanism. This model can use AC Servo Motors or Stepper Motors as per customer order. ASE Machine uses gear rack instead of ball screw to gain more speed; instead, cutting precision reduces.
